Recent rescue I brought to the vet. I'm planning to patch him. up and send him to his forever home. But the vet said I'm gonna have a hard time because he's "not that cute" Imao. It's been 3 days since I posted him on my local website, social media etc... and still no biters... What else can I do to get this cutie adopted? I already have 2 foster fails... I can't afford another troublemaker lol

sealosam 1d ago I've never seen a cat that wasn't cute in some way or another. That vet must be some kind of an asshole.

Prestigious_Bison707 1d ago • He's not ugly at all ..just a bit malnourished right now! Once he grows and fills out, he's gonna be all fluffy and adorable. It's just a rescue phase. And next time, tell the vet "look who's talking!" D

Spiritual_Cell_9719 1d ago "Not that cute" is insane. I need her license to practice animal medicine revoked. If I could have a cat right now, I would come get him in a heartbeat.

I almost thought I adopted "Bill the Cat" until I actually got to look at him. My family and I thought he'd be kinda ugly, but my dad insisted we checked him out anyway. 10/10 don't regret.

DidelphisGinny 1d ago. Maybe whoever diagnosed him just has ugly eyes, you ever thought about that?

9-lives-Fritz • 1d ago . Play up the fact that the vet called him too ugly to be rehomed, people are suckers for an underdog. The only reason the wife let us take home our dog is because she was #11 of 11, all the other dogs got picked.

Jezzamk2 20h ago . Slightly longer pointed face than 'normal'. Maybe a bit of Siamese in him, or maybe he just needs to put some weight on and be loved. If any Siamese in him he will be a real character. If I didn't already have 6 I would love to take him

home. I never intended to have 6, I took in a beautiful, but malnourished tortie, only to discover later that she was pregnant. Only suspected a few days before she gave birth. The kittens were too cute to trust with anyone else and I felt that she deserved to keep them as I think she had had and lost previous litters.
